The Origin of Iron Lore
In 2020, as the world shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic, Aaron and Eleni-real estate investors with a deep passion for fitness-found themselves with a vacant commercial space in Beaumont. Originally intended for a Mucho Burrito franchise, the building sat idle as lockdowns halted business plans and closed gyms across the city.
With nowhere to train and a commitment to staying strong, they pivoted. A quick order from Atlantis Strength began with just ten pieces of equipment. As word spread and friends asked to join, they expanded the order to over 30 pieces. What started as a personal training space soon evolved into a shared gym for others who wanted a place of their own.
From the beginning, Iron Lore was never designed to be a public, high-volume fitness club. It was Aaron and Eleni's private training space-intentionally shared with a select group who valued premium equipment, a respectful culture, and a spotless environment. The goal was simple: create a space where members could feel like it was their own home gym.
To keep the model sustainable and intimate, they capped membership at 50 people, charging just enough-$100/month-to cover operating costs.
Growth Through Demand
The response was overwhelming. Within a year, demand outgrew the original space. Aaron and Eleni purchased the bay next door, doubling the gym's footprint and adding new equipment from Atlantis and Prime Fitness. Membership was capped at 200 members, and fees were adjusted to $125/month, still rooted in the values of quality, community, and sustainability.
A Commitment to Consistency
Since day one, Iron Lore has never closed its doors. Operating 24/7 for four consecutive years, the gym has provided uninterrupted access to its members through every season and challenge. What's more, Iron Lore has been entirely self-funded-no grants, no taxpayer dollars-just a shared commitment to building something real.
More Than a Gym
Iron Lore is more than a place to train. It's a story of resilience, passion, and shared strength. Built during a time of uncertainty, it has become a sanctuary for those who value excellence, community, and consistency.
